Judicaël is a writer, ceramicist, and visual artist. After studying film and art history, he turned to philosophy at NYU, then moved to Berlin to further his research in writing and his artistic exploration. His writing practice became a physical experience, leading him to explore the materiality of writing, from language to its materiality. This natural transition from text to installation, from surface to space, reflects his commitment to a philosophy of matter, where his works seek to express his experience of the world. Trained in ceramics in Puisaye, Judicaël continues to explore forms linked to the landscape while deepening his intimacy with the material. He seeks to breathe air into the earth, playing with gravity and its limits, while integrating a poetic dimension into his approach, one that is both existential and symbolist.

Judicaël is a French visual artist and ceramist based in Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye.
His artistic style, nourished by poetry and the experience of living things, arises from a physical and sensory relationship with matter. His work is rooted in the earth and the intimate relationship between gesture, fire, and the forms of nature.
Through ceramics, he explores transformation, slowness, and the mineral memory carried by landscapes. His sculptures, often created in connection with natural spaces, engage in a dialogue with the cycles of the world: they are born from fire, marked by its imprints, and themselves become fragments of territory.
His approach combines experimentation, ecology and transmission — notably through collective projects and shared wood-fired cooking, where creation becomes an act of attention to the world.
